According to the stipulations of “Interim Regulations on Insurance Requirement of Foreign Students at Universities” issued by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China (Jiaowaisilai (2007) No. 1078), all international students who study at our school should purchase group comprehensive insurance throughout their study period. The group comprehensive insurance for international students is a prerequisite for the registration   for new semester. International student's personal life insurance cannot be used for admission and study in China.

According to the above stipulations, international students with a study period of less than 6 months must submit overseas medical insurance and accident insurance certificates for registration. Without the two insurance certificates, international students must purchase the group comprehensive insurance throughout their study period.

International students can purchase medical insurance from China Ping An Insurance Company or other insurance companies. This insurance can be purchased at the beginning of the semester and the insurance premium is 800 yuan/year or 400 yuan/half a year.
