Notes
1. For international students coming to China from abroad with a new visa, please check the visa category and read the following notes.
X1 visas generally allow holders to enter the country only once, and can only stay in China for no more than 30 days after entry. Foreign students must report to the school within 30 days of entering the country to apply for a residence permit, otherwise it will constitute illegal residence. The school provides information to international students, goes to the designated hospital for medical examination or verification of the medical examination report within six months of the validity period, and obtains the medical examination report before applying for a residence permit visa. It takes about a month to process a residence permit visa. Therefore, it is recommended that international students with X1 visas plan their itinerary and report to the school according to the registration date on the admission notice, so as to avoid the visa expiration due to premature coming to China, resulting in the inability to enroll in school or causing other unnecessary troubles.
The number of entries for the X2 visa and the number of days allowed to stay after entry are indicated on the visa. Foreign students with X2 visas should pay attention to the period of stay after entering the country and register for enrollment at the school within the designated time.
2. For foreign students who have already stayed in China, please check the visa category and read the following notes.
For international students in China who already hold a residence permit, the validity period of the residence permit should be more than 7 days left when they register for enrollment on the specified date, and they should apply for a study residence permit after enrollment.
For students holding other types of visas, the period of stay of the visa should be more than 15 days left at the time of enrollment on the specified date, and apply for a change of visa or a residence permit after enrollment.
Students with a residence permit cannot apply for a visa or residence permit in China, but must leave the country and re-enter the country after applying for a visa for the purpose of study abroad.
