7. Easy-to-use instructions of software Zoom
(1) APP download

B. Select Internet fee service on the screen.
C. Enter the Internet fee account number (Internet account number is student number), enter recharge amount and campus card password in the new window, and click OK.
(If you are a residential quarter user, you need to input letters or symbols, you can press the dot (.) on the keypad to open the soft keyboard.)
D. Recharge succeeded.
9. (1) Solution of Internet disconnection 1 (restart network service)
Many students experience Internet disconnection mainly because the network service needs to be restarted and Netsh Winsock needs to be restarted.
A. First, we need to restart the network service. See the following figure for specific operations. The shortcut is: Windows key + r,
Type in services.msc and press Enter button to open the service window.
B．Find DHCP Client and DNS Client, then restart both.
C. Restart netsh winsock. First, we need to enter administrator permission operation on CMD: enter CMD interface
D. Type in netsh winsock reset and then press Enter button. Then restart your computer.

PS: Software 360 and QQ Steward may affect NETSH.EXE running, so it is strongly recommended to delete both softwares! If you get disconnected with Internet again after restart, please repeat the procedures above.
(2) Solution for Internet disconnection 2 (turn off sharing)
To solve the problem of online disconnection in the dormitory, the solutions are as follows:
Uncheck “allow other network users to connect through the Internet connection of this computer” on the Internet connection interface.
B. Turn off ICS shared service.
ICs sharing is a shared service provided by windows. After it is started, the threshold value of the number of packets will be checked. If it exceeds a certain number or time, it will be prompted. This server can be set as a service that will not be automatically executed after startup. In addition, WiFi sharing of 360 uses ICS shared service by default. Therefore, if we want to reduce the agent offline caused by ICS, it is generally recommended that users change this service to manual status and stop it by default. The specific operation is as follows:
Run services.msc, open the service interface and select “Internet connection sharing” (ICS), as shown in the following figure:

12. Check MAC address on Windows system
A. Press Win + R simultaneously to open the operation window, type in “cmd”, and then press Enter button to confirm.
Enter the command “ipconfig / all” in the command prompt window to find all the network card addresses of the computer, including wired and wireless access (if there is a wireless network card).
Note: 1. Network card address, also known as MAC address, is a physical address. There are 6 groups of 12 characters, separated by colons (:) or minus signs (-).
C. The address of the network card is fixed on the hardware, even if the network cable is not plugged in, it can be found out through the above steps.
D. Run the command ipconfig /all, there may be many characters such as “Tunnel Adapter Local Area Connection 2:” and “Tunnel Adapter Local Area Connection 6:”, which also contain physical addresses. Leave them alone, these are not the real physical addresses we need.
E. Run the command ipconfig /all, characters like “Bluetooth Adapter Local Area Connection” may also appear, which also has a physical address. Ignore them as well.
F. Generally, the addresses of the wired network card and wireless network card we need are at the top of the returned result of the “ipconfig /all” command. The wired NIC name will appear as “Ethernet Card Adapter”.
G. The wireless network card will be displayed as “Wireless LAN Adapter WLAN” or “Wireless LAN Adapter WIFI”. If there are more than one, you can observe the description. If Virtual or Bluetooth is included, it is not the correct wireless network card.
The second approach
A. Right-click the network icon in the system tray, then left-click “Open Network and Sharing Center”.
B. Click “Change Adapter Settings” in the new window.

(2) When logging in, it prompts “timeout failed network error, please check network connectivity”, as shown in the following figure. In this case, it can be determined that there is no physical connection between the computer and the campus network. To determine the problem, if the information port is broken, you can come to the Information Center to report for repair.
