Due to the impact of isolation for the COVID-19, the International School has actively organized international students to participate in the school's online studying. This semester, there are a total of 90 undergraduates taking online courses and 39 compulsory courses for online learning. All the teachers and students of the International  School work together to overcome the difficulties of network barriers, time differences and other difficulties to insist on online learning.

On the afternoon of June 24, 2020, International school held an online awards ceremony conference, in order to further boost morale of students who work hard. Dr. He Mingke, Vice-President of BWU, Han Xing, Dean of International School, Lv Yinan, Deputy Director of International Division, and Lu Hua, Vice-President of International School attended the conference.

Firstly, a poem recitation video "I miss you China, I miss you Beijing" co-produced by international students was played. The readers were full of emotions and expressed affection by their own language to China, Beijing, and BWU.

Secondly, the teachers read out the award list and award prizes to the winning students. First of all, 28 students including Xu Siting and Lin Wenli, who actively studied in the epidemic, were awarded the "positive performance" award by the deputy dean of the International School, Dr. Lu Hua.

Lv Yinan, Deputy director of the International and exchang department, awarded the "Excellent Volunteer" award to Zhang Bo. She believed that the student's action was a true portrayal of "knowledge, willingness to accompany, love, and heart".

Han Xing, the executive dean of the International School,  award students who won the "Excellent International Student Leaders" . The winners were seven students including Huang Jialiang. The International School Student Union became the key link between the school and the students, which make an important example for the management and service between teachers and students .

in the end, Dr. He Mingke, Vice President awarded 13 students with the "Learning Model" award. He hoped that the more difficult the students faced, the more determined they will study hard and live seriously for their future. Also, Dr. He Mingke cordially talked to the award-winning students and expressed his concern for the students.

Finally, Dr. He Mingke, Vice President, congratulated all the students who received the award, and expressed encouragement to the unrewarded students, and fully affirmed and praised the work of the students, and said that in the face of natural disasters, human beings are sometimes cannot resist the power of nature, but human beings can always survive through disasters. All the teachers and students of the school are concerning your safety and hope to see you on campus as soon as possible.
