On the afternoon of April 28, 2018, international students from the Laos, Thailand and other countries of the International School celebrated their annual New Year’s Songkran Festival in Southeast Asian countries， which represents the old and the new and everyone splashed water on each other to wish the new year good luck. International students from Malaysia, Japan, South Korea, and Uzbekistan also participated in this event to learn about different traditional culture and share the joy of the festival together.
Over the past few years, with the development of our university  international education, many students from the “Belt and Road” countries have come to the BWU to study, bringing a lot of foreign cultures, broadening the horizons of Chinese students, and promoting cultural exchanges and communication.
