On July 10, 2021, Beijing Wuzi University announced the establishment of the School of Accounting. President LIU Jun, Deputy Party Secretary SONG Xiaoxin,Vice President LIU Yongsheng, Secretary of BWU Discipline Inspection Commission NIE Fengjie,Vice President ZHANG Xufeng and Head of Publicity Department SUN Jie attended the opening ceremony as well as the seminar on the Construction of Accounting and Finance under the Background of New Liberal Arts.

President LIU Jun delivered a speech on behalf of BWU and pointed out that the establishment of the School of Accounting will further promote the rapid development of the accounting discipline of BWU. In the future, the School of Accounting should adapt to the development of digital economy and intelligent finance, and make greater contributions to the development of the country and Beijing city in the cultivation of accounting professionals.

The unveiling ceremony of the School of Accounting was held and then the appointment letter of guest professor was awarded to SHEN Wei, Associate Vice President of Deakin University in Australia, and GUO Xuemeng, Director of the International Cooperation Liaison Office of Beijing Jiaotong University.

The accounting and financial management major of the School of Accounting can be traced back to the material accounting major at the beginning of the establishment of BWU in 1985 and has so far trained 32 batches of accounting-related graduates, most of which have become leading talents in various industries. The School of Accounting currently has a master's degree in accounting and a master's degree in MPAcc, 6 undergraduate majors in accounting including certified accountants, management accounting and financial management as well as a minor degree and a second bachelor's degree.
