In order to actively respond to the ecological and environmental protection concept of "Lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets" put forward by General Secretary XI Jinping and to celebrate 100th anniversary of the Communist Party of China,Student Affairs Branch of CPC BWU committee built a "Future Forest" environmental protection team and carried out tree planting activity from April 9th to 11th in Kubuqi Desert, Dalat Banner, Inner Mongolia, as one of a series of publicity and education activities themed "Learn from Party History, Strengthen Faith and Follow the Party". DING Jian, secretary of Student Affairs Branch of CPC BWU committee, ZHANG Jianbao, deputy secretary of School of Marxism Studies, counselors of schools, teachers and students representatives attended the activity.

On the morning of April 10^th, the team arrived in Baotou and took a bus to the Kubuqi Desert. Under the introduction of Mr. JIN Hujie, the leader of the "Future Forest" project,  the team start two hours of crossing the desert and came to the planting site at noon. First, DING Jian, secretary of Student Affairs Branch of CPC BWU, held the micro party class themed "Learning Party History to Strengthen Our Faith". Then, Mr. JIN Hujie explained the method of planting poplar trees. The team work actively in small groups, strictly following the planting process of soil shoveling,soil ridging and stepping on the soil. Finally 100 poplar seedlings were planted.

Then, the team went to Longtouguai village nearby to investigate rural development in the desert and studied the effect of desert ecological environment improvement on rural economic development.

On April 11th, the "Future Forest" environmental protection team returned to Beijing and the planting activity came to a successful conclusion. The activity strengthened the awareness of environmental protection of teachers and students and enhanced them with the faith of "Learn from Party History, Strengthen Faith and Follow the Party"and the social responsibility for the construction of the "Ecological Earth".
