On the morning of May 9, 2020, the Beijing social science fund major project "Research on the index system and statistical system of high quality economic development in Beijing (19ZDA12)" was held in the morning of May 9, 2020. The project leader was Professor Wang Wenju of our university, and the meeting was held in the form of Tencent meeting.

The expert group of the opening demonstration meeting is composed of Professor Zhang Baoxue, Dean of the school of statistics, Capital University of Economics and Business; Wu Wanbiao, Deputy Director General of Beijing Municipal Bureau of Statistics; Ruan Jing, Associate Dean of Graduate School of Capital University of Economics and Business; Professor Ge Xinquan, School of Economics and management, Beijing University of Information Technology; and Professor Wang Keshan, Director of scientific research department of Beijing Wuzi University. Professor Ren Tao, Deputy Dean of the school of statistics, Capital University of Economics and Business, Professor Zhou Li, Dean of the School of Information, Professor Guo Qian, deputy director of scientific research department BWU, Associate Professor Han song, Associate Professor Li Feng, Dr. Huang Yuyi and other members of the research group attended the meeting.

Professor Zhang Baoxue presided over the opening demonstration meeting. Professor Wang Wenju reported in detail the research background and significance, research ideas and methods, research focus and objectives, specific research content, research progress and expected results. Focusing on the five development concepts, the project constructs the evaluation dimension, conducts sub domain and differentiated evaluation research on Beijing's functional zoning and positioning. The overall goal is to form a set of scientific and effective evaluation index system, index monitoring system and statistical system for high-quality economic development, so as to guide the high-quality development direction of Beijing and relevant regional economic entities. He stressed that he hoped to establish a "high-quality development research center" relying on project research, first of all, to provide index monitoring for high-quality development of governments, districts and counties in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei region, and gradually build it into the forefront of high-quality development research in China. Professor Zhou Li, Dean of the Institute of information technology, made a detailed report on the research progress of the project, the follow-up division and arrangement, and the research mechanism of the project team.

On the basis of carefully listening to the report, the expert group believes that the construction of the project content framework is reasonable, the theoretical research has characteristics, and the practical research has innovation. It demonstrates that the preliminary research is progressing smoothly, and fully affirms the follow-up research ideas and schedule. The expert group suggested that the project team should pay more attention to the scientific demonstration of the index system, the processing method of the indicators, the selection of the evaluation base period and the statistical measurement method of the data in the follow-up research. It is suggested that the project team should strengthen the communication and cooperation with Beijing Municipal Bureau of Statistics and relevant district and county Party committees and bureaus, produce a batch of high-level and influential landmark achievements around the core content, and forge a scientific and technological innovation team, It is hoped that the project members will deeply consider the relevant research on high-quality economic development based on the 4th five-years plan. The expert group agreed that the project was fully demonstrated and agreed to open the project.

After the meeting, Professor Wang Wenju once again extended a warm welcome and sincere thanks to all the experts for their guidance. Professor Wang Wenju said that the project team will actively improve and correct the deficiencies according to the opinions of the review experts, so as to ensure the orderly progress of the follow-up research of the project, and invite experts to continuously provide consultation and guidance for the project. At the same time, Professor Wang Wenju also expressed his gratitude to all the experts for their long-term support for the development of Beijing Wuzi University, and hoped that the experts would give more valuable opinions on the development of the project and the discipline construction of Beijing Wuzi University.

The successful opening demonstration meeting of the Beijing social science fund major project (19ZDA12) is not only a review of the provincial and ministerial level major projects of our university, but also a platform for external communication and exchange on the development of related disciplines and refining research direction of our university.
