2019 China-Germany Logistics Forum held in BWU

On September 19th, 2019, the "2019 Sino-German Logistics Forum" was held  at the Logistics School. The forum specially invited Prof. Dr. Armin F. Schwolgin, a visiting professor at BWU, and Dr. Johannes Patrick Michalski, senior business planner and analyst at Novartis Pharma AG, Ms. Zhu Danping, director of e-commerce at Feige Logistics (China) Co., Ltd., served as a guest speaker. He Mingke, vice president of BWU, and Han Xing, director of the International School, attended the forum.

This forum, through the discussion of targeted logistics issues, provides a new perspective and ideas for how to further understand the new development trends of logistics and supply chain, and to conduct more in-depth research. At the same time, the forum also laid a firmer foundation for China and Germany to further expand exchanges, enhance friendship and strengthen cooperation.

The theme of Professor Aming's speech is "Risk Managements and Resilience in Logistics", which started with the risk management that is currently highly concerned, introduced the classification and evaluation methods of risk factors, and focused on the analysis of risk management in the field of logistics and supply chain problems and management methods. The theme of Dr. Johannes's speech was "Operations Planning-the Key Process to Steer Manufacturing Capacities", which combined with the actual production operations of pharmaceutical companies, and presented to the audience through cases how to use big data concepts and analytical tools to help companies Managers can allocate resources and arrange production more scientifically and efficiently, and finally achieve the purpose of ensuring product delivery. The theme of Ms. Zhu Danping's speech is "Cross Border E-Commerce. The Fiege Model." In her speech, she shared her nearly ten years of work experience in Flyge International Logistics Company, and introduced the company's current cross-border logistics in a simple way. The operation mode of the field, and focusing on the new changes in the development of China's e-commerce in recent years, put forward its own views on the future development of cross-border e-commerce.
