Beijing Wuzi University Prepares to Celebrate her 40th Anniversary

In October, 2020, Beijing Wuzi University (BWU) shall celebrate her 40th Anniversary and wishes to extend her deep appreciation to all those, including the alumni across the world, people from all walks of life and overseas partners, who have contributed to the university’s development and who have provided great support in our battle against the contagion.
Founded in 1980, BWU is a municipal university in Beijing, originated from Beijing Economics Institute which was established in 1963. BWU is the first university in China to set up the specialties of Futures, Logistics Management and Purchasing Management and has been focusing on the developments of its management disciplines based on economic disciplines with a distinguishing feature in its logistics management disciplines.
Since its establishment 40 years ago, BWU has been sticking to her principle of “Virtue and Erudition, Practice and Innovation” and commit herself to serving national and local development. Over the four decades remarkable achievement has been made by BWU in the research of modern circulation, cultivation model with distinct advantages as well as collaboration with Government, Industry and Research Institutions. Almost 100,000 students have graduated from the university in the past 40 years. The graduates enjoy excellent reputation in the society, especially in the field of logistics, securities and futures.
To celebrate the glory developed by all BWUers over the decades and to refresh her aspirations for the future, we hereby confirm that the 40th Anniversary celebration will be scheduled on October 18, 2020 with a wide range of events to mark the occasion.
