On March 8, 2022, Wang Wenju,  Secretary of the Party Committee of the University, and He Mingke, Vice President of the University visited the support staff of the Winter Olympics in the main logistics center of Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games (Winter Paralympic Games). Sun Jing, Director of the School Office, and Zhang Yanyan, Secretary of the School's Youth League Committee accompanied the delegation. Mr. Li Yanling, Minister of Logistics Department and Venue Director of the Main Logistics Center, Mr. Tang Yonghong, Deputy Minister of Logistics Department and Deputy Venue Director of the main Logistics Center, Mr. Li Jin, Secretary-general of the main Logistics Center and others warmly welcomed them.

The school leaders arrived at the main logistics center and visited the office area, furniture exhibition hall and volunteer residential area. At the volunteer residence, they communicated with the volunteers and took photos with them.

A symposium was then held in the conference room of the main logistics center.At the beginning of the meeting, Yan Huining, Deputy Secretary of the School's Youth League Committee and manager of volunteers stationed in the venue, made a special report on the personnel secondment period and the volunteer work in the venue.She served as the temporary Secretary of the Youth League Committee of the main Logistics Center and led the team to win the honorary title of "Beijing Youth Civilization". The volunteer team of the main logistics center was evaluated as "small but fine, fine and strong" by the volunteer department of the Winter Olympic Organizing Committee. As a volunteer of the service team to guarantee the logistics of the Winter Olympics, she will lead the students to promote the spirit of our school's major activities and contribute to the logistics of the Winter Olympics.

Lin Kai, the representative of the interns, briefly introduced the basic working conditions of the interns in the venue. He talked about the training and improvement of each intern in their own positions, and the harvest of growth and progress. Vice president He Mingke congratulated the students on becoming a glorious worker of the Winter Olympics, and hoped that the students could cherish the opportunity to participate in national affairs, clarify their responsibilities, learn from each other, seek advice with an open mind, and demonstrate the style of contemporary college students.

Comrade Li Yanling talked about many new breakthroughs in logistics of the Winter Olympic Games, which could not be separated from the strong support of BWU. At the same time, on behalf of the Logistics Department of the Winter Olympic Organizing Committee, she gave a high evaluation and praise to the teachers and students of our school serving the Winter Olympic Games, and fully affirmed the quality of our teachers and students to face up to difficulties and the work attitude of pursuing excellence.

In the end, Mr. Wang Wenju, Secretary of the Party Committee of the University, concluded his speech. He was tremendously proud of the success of the Winter Olympic Games and congratulated the Logistics Department of the Winter Olympic Games for its achievements. At the same time, on behalf of the Party Committee of the University, he thanked the teachers and students who led the team for devoting themselves to the service of the Winter Olympic Games during the spring festival  holidays. He also thanked the organizing committee for the training and care of the students and hoped that their future work will only get better from here. No matter when, the school is always the most solid backing of students.

At the end of the meeting, Secretary Wang Wenju, Dean He Mingke and Minister Li Yanling presented school gifts to interns and volunteers and took photos.

It is reported that our school provides 32 teachers and students for the Logistics Department of the Winter Olympic Organizing Committee. Among them, there are 1 teacher (Venue volunteer Manager Yan Huining), 5 interns and 11 volunteers in the venue of the main logistics center, and the other 15 interns are distributed in different venues of the three competition areas .
