In May 2021, BWU passed the Quality Authentication for International Study in Chinese Higher Learning Institutions and received the Authentication Certificate for Educational Service.  

The authentication is a quality control system for the education of international students in China’s higher learning institutions, which is launched by China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE) under the direction of Ministry of Education. The authentication system consists of 5 targets in grade 1, 17 in grade 2 and 57 main observation points, which provides a comprehensive assessment of international education from mission and purposes, resource allocation and utilization, teaching-learning, governance and internal quality assurance, public relations and social integrity. BWU started the self-evaluation in March 2020,officially submit the application for authentication in May 2020 and in October 2020 an expert panel came to BWU for on-site appraisal. Passing the authentication is meaningful for the long-term development of BWU’s international education.

Referring to the expert's recommendations and taking this authentication as a new starting point,BWU will put forward  improvement schemes direct at the working system of studying in China and devote to push to a higher level of international students education.
