On November 25, 2021, the Beijing-affiliated colleges and universities undergraduate talent training quality improvement promotion meeting was held. The meeting was set up at the main venue of the Beijing Municipal Education Commission. Liu Yuhui, deputy secretary of the Municipal Education Working Commission and director of the Municipal Education Commission, Liu Changan, deputy director of the Municipal Education Commission, Feng Yiguo, First-Class Inspector of the Municipal Education Commission, and Liu Xiao, director of the Higher Education of the Municipal Education Commission, attended the meeting. Liu Jun, deputy secretary of the school’s party committee and President of University, attended the meeting and made exchange speeches.

President Liu Jun published a report titled "Application-based undergraduate’s "Industry-Major-Occupation" Major Group Construction and Talent Cultivation Model Innovation and Practice", sharing the exploration and experience of Beijing Wuzi University in major group construction and talent training mode reform from three aspects.The first is the "Industry-Major-Occupation" three-industry integration concept as the forerunner, creating a major group covering the entire industry chain. Based on characteristic majors, the school has gradually formed a superior major group consisting of multiple majors covering the entire industry chain. The second is to take into account the three bodies of "Group-Single-Individual", and create a training model from major V2.0 to major group V2.0. The third is the "Government-Enterprise-University" tripartite collaboration to innovate a new mechanism for the integration of "Government, Industry and Education".

At the meeting, the presidents of Beijing University of Technology, Capital Normal University, Capital University of Economics and Business, Beijing Information Technology University, Beijing University of Agriculture and other universities also made exchange speeches. Relevant leaders of the Beijing Municipal Education Commission made work arrangements respectively.

The director and deputy director of our school's academic affairs department, the deans of the teaching colleges, the deputy deans of teaching, and relevant teaching management personnel also attended the meeting in the video branch venue of the school's Chongde Building.

Our school will thoroughly implement the spirit of the conference and the "Beijing Higher Education Undergraduate Talent Training Quality Improvement Action Plan (2022-2024)" document requirements, further deepen the reform of undergraduate education and teaching, innovate the talent training mechanism, strengthen the top-level design, improve the operating mechanism, refine the task decomposition to ensure the implementation is in place, realize the development of school education and teaching content, characteristic development, and differentiated development, continue to improve the talent training ability, and continuously improve the quality of talent training.
