On the morning of September 7, Professor Liu Jun, the president of BWU, delivered a lecture on "how to be an excellent university teacher" for faultiest recruited this year.

In the lecture, Professor Liu Jun mentioned five points. First of all, as an excellent teacher, first of all, he should serve the mission and goal of the BWU, combine his own research direction with the school value orientation, and combine the professional and industrial background.

Secondly, new teachers should carry forward the fine tradition of the BWU, carry forward the past and forge ahead.

Third, excellent teachers should make contributions in academic, teaching and service.

Fourth, he expected that new teachers can do a good job in the five-year plan of personal development and do a good job in "five ones": choose a stable and sustainable research direction; join a team; teach a course; write an article; and do a good job in a service.

Finally, he pointed that new teachers should stand at the forefront of academic research and apply the theory to the industry to solve practical problems. He said, we should strengthen international cooperation and exchange, have a global vision, combine our own development with national, social and regional development, constantly integrate into it, and pursue excellence.
